Who we are

DodoFanz (dodofanz.com) is a creator economy software brand operated by Oyelabs Technologies. We build and sell white-label software products for entrepreneurs and businesses – including creator subscription platforms, short video applications, live streaming solutions, and fan community platforms.

When you visit our website, submit an inquiry, book a demo, or purchase a product from us, you share information with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

References to “we”, “us”, or “DodoFanz” in this policy mean DodoFanz and its operating entity, Oyelabs Technologies. “You” means anyone who visits our website or engages with our services.

1. Scope of This Policy

This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by DodoFanz directly through this website, our sales process, and our project engagements with clients.  DodoFanz provides white-label software products to entrepreneurs and businesses who operate their own independent platforms. Those client-operated platforms are separate from DodoFanz. If you are an end user of a platform built using DodoFanz software, your data is collected and controlled by that platform operator, not by DodoFanz.

Please refer to that platform’s own privacy policy for information about how your data is handled.  DodoFanz acts as a data processor only with respect to any personal data shared by clients during project delivery. Clients are the data controllers for their own platform deployments and are solely responsible for ensuring their platforms comply with applicable data protection law.

2. What Information We Collect

    Information you give us directly

When you interact with DodoFanz – through our inquiry form, demo booking, WhatsApp contact, or purchase process – you may provide:

  • Your name and the name of your business or organization
  • Your email address and phone number
  • Payment information processed through our payment partners
  • Any other information you choose to share during a sales conversation or project engagement
    • Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, certain data is collected automatically through the tools and technologies we use:

  • Your IP address and approximate geographic location
  • The device, browser, and operating system you are using
  • Pages you visited, how long you spent on them, and how you navigated between them
  • The source that brought you to our site – search engine, paid ad, social platform, or direct
  • Clicks, scrolls, and on-page interactions captured through session recording tools
  • Where you contact us via WhatsApp Business, the content of that conversation, including your phone number, business details, and any other information you share in that conversation, is retained in our WhatsApp Business account and may be transferred to our CRM for the purposes of managing your inquiry. WhatsApp conversation data is retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us.

      Information from third-party platforms

If you contact us via WhatsApp Business or interact with our ads on Meta platforms, those platforms may share interaction data with us in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

    3. Tools and Third Parties We Use

We use the following third-party tools on our website. Each of these may collect or process data about your visit:

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. This includes traffic sources, page performance, session duration, and user behavior patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. You can opt out via Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Microsoft Clarity: We use Microsoft Clarity for session recording and heatmap analysis. Clarity captures how users interact with our pages – including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolls – to help us improve usability. Microsoft’s privacy policy governs how Clarity handles this data.
  • Google Search Console: We use Search Console to monitor our website’s performance in Google Search. This tool processes aggregated, anonymized search data and does not collect personally identifiable information about individual visitors.
  • Ahrefs: We use Ahrefs for SEO analysis and website performance monitoring. Ahrefs processes publicly available web data and does not collect personal information from individual visitors to our site.
  • WhatsApp Business: We offer WhatsApp as a contact channel. If you reach out to us via WhatsApp, your message, phone number, and any information you share in that conversation are processed through WhatsApp’s platform, which is operated by Meta. WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies to that interaction.
  • Meta Pixel: We use the Meta Pixel on our website to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. The Pixel may collect data about your visit and match it against your Meta profile if you are logged in. You can manage your ad preferences through your Facebook account settings.
  • Go High Level: We use GHL to manage sales inquiries, demo requests, and client communications. When you submit a contact form or book a demo, your information is stored in our CRM. GHL’s privacy policy governs how that platform handles your data.

Mailchimp / Mailtrap: Where you have consented to receive communications from us, your email address and engagement data are processed through Mailchimp / Mailtrap. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

    4. Why We Collect This Information

We collect and use your information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries and provide information about our products
  • To schedule and conduct product demos
  • To process purchases and deliver software products
  • To manage ongoing project engagements and support requests
  • To send relevant updates, follow-ups, or product information where you have expressed interest
  • To understand how our website is being used and improve its content and performance
  • To measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising
  • To meet our legal obligations
  • We do not use your information for purposes beyond what is described here without your consent.

    5. Legal Basis for Processing Your Data

Depending on where you are located and what you are doing on our site, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process your personal data:

  • Contract – when processing is necessary to fulfill a purchase or project engagement you have entered into with us
  • Legitimate interests – when we have a genuine business reason to process your data, such as improving our website or following up on a sales inquiry, provided that reason does not override your rights
  • Consent – where you have actively opted in, such as agreeing to receive marketing communications or accepting non-essential cookies
  • Legal obligation – where applicable law requires us to retain or process certain information
  • For the avoidance of doubt, this legal basis applies solely to personal data collected by DodoFanz through this website and our direct client engagements. DodoFanz is not the data controller or data processor for any personal data collected by platforms independently operated by our clients using our software products. Those client-operated platforms are entirely outside the scope of this policy.

    6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies – small text files stored on your device – to make the site work, understand how it is used, and deliver relevant advertising.

  • Essential cookies are required for basic site functionality and cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies are set by tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They help us understand visitor behavior and improve the site. These are non-essential and can be declined.
  • Marketing cookies are set by tools like the Meta Pixel. They track your visit for advertising attribution purposes. These are non-essential and can be declined.
  • When you first visit DodoFanz, you will be presented with a cookie notice that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can update your preferences at any time through your browser settings. Note that declining certain cookies may affect how some parts of the site function.

    7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your data only for as long as there is a legitimate reason to hold it:

  • Inquiry and contact data are retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us
  • Project and purchase records are retained for up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes
  • Analytics and session data are governed by the retention settings of the respective third-party tools
  • Where you ask us to delete your data and there is no legal obligation requiring us to retain it, we will action that request promptly
  • 8. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We may share your information with:

  • Oyelabs Technologies – as the operating entity behind DodoFanz, for project delivery and business operations
  • Payment processors – to handle transactions securely. We do not store full payment card details ourselves
  • Third-party tools – as listed in Section 2, each operating under its own data processing terms
  • Legal or regulatory authorities – where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or regulatory request
  • Any third party that processes your data on our behalf is required to handle it securely and only for the purposes we specify.

DodoFanz does not share personal data collected through this website with client-operated platforms built using our software. Client platforms operate independently and are not connected to DodoFanz’s own data infrastructure after software delivery.

    9. International Data Transfers

DodoFanz operates internationally. If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in India or the United States, where Oyelabs Technologies maintains its operations.  Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law. For transfers from the UK or EEA, this includes the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission, or other lawful transfer mechanisms where applicable.  If you would like further information about the specific safeguards applied to your data in connection with international transfers, please contact us at grow@dodofanz.com.

    10. Your Rights – GDPR (UK and European Users)

If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under applicable data protection law:

  • Access – you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction – you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Erasure – you can ask us to delete your personal data where there is no longer a lawful reason to hold it
  • Restriction – you can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
  • Portability – you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection – you can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including for direct marketing
  • Withdrawal of consent – where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
  • To exercise any of these rights, contact us at grow@dodofanz.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority – the ICO in the UK, or the relevant supervisory authority in your EU member state.

    11. Data Processing Agreements (B2B Clients)

DodoFanz delivers white-label software products to clients who independently operate their own platforms. Once a software product is delivered, the client is the sole data controller for all personal data collected and processed through their deployment. DodoFanz does not operate, access, or control client-operated platforms after delivery and is not a data processor with respect to any end-user data collected by the client’s platform.

GDPR, UK GDPR, or any other data protection regulatory compliance of the client’s deployed platform is solely the client’s responsibility. DodoFanz does not warrant that any delivered software product is compliant with any specific data protection regulation in the client’s jurisdiction, unless GDPR-specific compliance requirements have been explicitly scoped, agreed upon in writing, and included as a deliverable in the project agreement.  Where a client engagement explicitly requires DodoFanz to process personal data on the client’s behalf as part of project delivery, and the client is subject to GDPR or UK GDPR, the client is responsible for raising this requirement prior to project commencement. Any Data Processing Agreement required in such circumstances must be requested in writing before work begins. DodoFanz has no obligation to enter into a DPA unless explicitly agreed as part of a signed project contract.

    12. Your Rights – CCPA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the following rights:

  • Right to know – you can request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, as well as how it has been used and whether it has been shared
  • Right to deletion – you can ask us to delete personal information we have collected, subject to certain legal exceptions
  • Right to opt out of sale – we do not sell personal information. This right is therefore not applicable, but we confirm it for transparency
  • Right to non-discrimination – exercising your privacy rights will not result in any difference in the service or pricing you receive from us
  • To submit a CCPA request, contact us at grow@dodofanz.com. We will verify your identity before processing the request and responding within 45 days.

    13. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. These include secure data transmission protocols, access controls, and working only with reputable third-party service providers.

No system is completely immune to risk. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for breaches that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This security commitment applies solely to personal data collected and held by DodoFanz directly. DodoFanz has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the security of personal data collected and processed by client-operated platforms built using our software products. Clients are solely responsible for implementing appropriate security measures on their own deployments.

    14. Children

DodoFanz’s website and services are directed at business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us at grow@dodofanz.com, and we will delete it promptly.

    15. Adult Content Platforms

Client Responsibility  Certain white-label software products offered by DodoFanz may be used by clients to operate platforms that permit adult content, subscription-based creator content, or age-restricted material. DodoFanz does not host, moderate, or control content published on client-operated platforms.

Clients operating platforms that permit adult or age-restricted content are solely responsible for:  (a) Implementing legally compliant age verification mechanisms required under applicable law in their jurisdiction, including but not limited to the Online Safety Act 2023 (UK), applicable US state laws, or any other relevant regulation;  (b) Establishing and enforcing content moderation policies that comply with applicable law and payment processor requirements;  (c) Ensuring compliance with all regulations applicable to adult content platforms in every jurisdiction in which their platform operates.  DodoFanz shall have no liability for any claims, penalties, or regulatory action arising from a client’s failure to meet these obligations.

    16. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. Once you leave dodofanz.com, this privacy policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any external website and encourage you to read their policies independently.

    17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, tools, or legal obligations. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users directly. Continued use of our website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This policy does not form part of any software license or project agreement between DodoFanz and its clients. Data processing obligations specific to a client engagement are governed solely by the relevant project contract and, where explicitly agreed, any accompanying Data Processing Agreement.
